While moving SQL-RD from old pc to new pc, it gives error in Configuring the Scheduler.

While moving SQL-RD from old pc to a new pc, it gives an error in the Scheduler.

"The Scheduler Service has already been registered on Server1".

Note: Server1 is old pc.

How can I resolve this?

    Hello Drake,

Due to the migration process the new machine has pulled through the data from the old machine and has the old machine name linked to the scheduler.

    Can you please -

-Check the status of the scheduler
-SQL-RD -> System (right hand side of main windows above History Tab) and check the traffic light status
-If green can you stop the service
-Go to Options -> Resources -> Scheduler (please note the details / credentials for the NT Service if in use rather than Background)
    -Select No Scheduling required
    -Apply Setting
    -Apply, OK

-Go to Options -> Resources -> Scheduler
-Select Use NT Service, type in the credentials (or Background if that was in use)
    -Apply Setting
    -Start Service
    -Apply, OK
-SQL-RD -> System (right hand side of main windows above History Tab) and check the traffic light status
-If red can you start the service (play button)

Run through the above and the scheduler service should start to send out schedules on the new server.

    Many thanks,
