Important things you should know about MS Access and MARS

  • MARS has been developed to save you the time and energy in creating your own custom report distribution application. Buying MARS is the equivalent of hiring a competent developer to develop a report distribution application for you using your own licensed MS Access components.
  • MARS does not come with Microsoft components (dlls) included.  It will interface with these components if they exist on your PC.  The components are required by MARS in order to read your Access Reports, queries & macros, run them and export them.  You must obtain the components yourself by buying and installing a copy of Microsoft Office from your regular software supplier, or from Microsoft.
  • Make sure you visit the Microsoft Office website and update your installation of Office with ALL the service packs and updates that have been released for your version of Office.

It is your responsibility when installing Microsoft Office editions and components to ensure that you are licensed to use these components within your organization, and that you do not exceed the number of licenses you have bought from Microsoft. Please read your Microsoft Office License very carefully.

By carrying on with this installation and using MARS you confirm that you understand your Microsoft Office License Agreement, and that you assume full responsibility for ensuring that the Microsoft Licensing terms are met.

*Support for MS Access 2003 is no longer supported as of August 1st 2015
